Marisa brings a creative mindset to her role as a Digital Strategist at Mediacurrent. A technology enthusiast, she enjoys keeping up with the latest tech trends, especially e-commerce.
Throughout her seven years of experience in the marketing industry, Marisa has sharpened her skills as a digital strategist, gaining exposure to non-profit, e-commerce, and healthcare sectors. After earning her degree in public relations from West Virginia University, she spent three years in the non-profit space doing marketing, event marketing and community relations at the American Cancer Society. Later, her career in digital strategy took shape while studying for her MBA in marketing. Prior to Mediacurrent, Marisa worked in eCommerce at QVC and later transitioned to a pharmaceutical marketing role.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Marisa is an avid college basketball and football fan and follows WVU, Villanova and Philadelphia Eagles. Outside of Mediacurrent, she can be found brunching, visiting wineries, and whipping up a batch of homemade limoncello.
