Erik Schwenke comes to the team with 7 years of combined experience managing IT and digital projects in a variety of industries. With a communications background and a curiosity for learning new concepts, he thrives in solving unique challenges while serving as the liaison between business needs and technical requirements.
Erik began his career leading WordPress website projects as well as implementing search engine optimization and social content campaigns. He then pivoted into a more technical focus, managing development efforts for multinational brands such as General Motors and Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health. However, his passion for digital marketing is what led him back to the agency world, where he discovered Mediacurrent.
In his free time, Erik can be found biking around his hometown of St. Louis, visiting craft breweries, and geeking out with friends over movies and video games. He also enjoys conquering physical achievements, and has previously completed the Yellowstone half marathon as well as multiple obstacle course races, including the Chicago Savage Race and the KC Yeti 5k.
