Believe... I know it sounds like a cat poster, but it's true. - Vitruvius from The Lego Movie

Brian is a passionate Drupal Developer with 7 Years of Drupal experience. He is an active member of the Drupal community and enjoys module development, theming, and integrating with 3rd-party APIs. He has worked on many projects, but he is most proud of the contributions he made to HopeOneSource, an organization that connects social service providers with people experiencing homelessness in the Washington, DC, region. He helped build the Drupal site that HOS is using to manage text-message communications to its users.

His background began as a reporter where he covered major events including the 2008 U.S. presidential election, a massive earthquake in Haiti, and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. He reported from a dozen countries in Latin America, voicing reports in English and Spanish. Looking for new ways to tell stories, he started a production company to produce videos and digital media for non-profit groups. Brian began helping to build Drupal sites for small organizations and large ones, including U.S. federal agencies. This work lead him to his position as a Drupal Developer at Mediacurrent.

Brian is very eager to learn and has a wide array of hobbies. He tailors his own suits, brews his own beer, and builds his own kitchen cabinets. But his true passion is ice hockey, much to the dismay of his Miami-born children. Brian has never met a skill he didn't want to learn. And once learned, he's anxious to get to work.
