Meet Tia Durham

1.  So Tia, what's your role at Mediacurrent, both internally and client-related?

I am currently a Senior Project Manager. My main duties include managing Drupal projects and the forecasts for internal resources. I help to maintain client relationships, track budgets, meet timelines and facilitate the communication between project stakeholders and the Mediacurrent team.

2.  We're so glad to have you!  Give us an idea of what professional path brought you here.

My entire professional career has focused on account management in a variety of different positions. Though I am a New Yorker at heart, my professional journey has all taken place in Orlando, FL.  As an Account Executive for three years at an advertising agency, I was involved with many creative projects that included shooting TV commercials, producing radio spots, outdoor marketing, web/email campaigns, and print projects.

As a Director of Client Services at a digital out-of-home media company, I worked on innovative interactive campaigns for about three years in many platforms including airports, malls, events, storefronts, mass transit, and mobile tours.

After these positions, I moved to be a Production Manager at a web development agency where I was first introduced to Drupal, and that is what led me here to Mediacurrent where I have been for the last year and a half.

3.  How did you first get involved with Drupal?

I was first introduced to Drupal in 2012 at the last web development agency that I worked for prior to coming to Mediacurrent.

4.  Is there a go-to Drupal module that you like to incorporate whenever possible?

I let the Drupal experts on our development team handle this .

5.  Any mobile apps that you use regularly?

I generally check Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and Groupon every day. I have taken a hiatus from Candy Crush because, man, that’s addicting!

6.  What do you like to do in your spare time?

I’m working to increase my activity level and right now I like to go to barre classes and bootcamp. I also spend a lot of my spare time recovering from those barre classes and bootcamp. I also love reality TV and cuddling with my Golden Retriever, Bailey.

7.  What do you like about Mediacurrent?

One of the most important aspects to me of a great company is the culture. I really enjoy the people I get to work with – they are not only super talented but also sincerely terrific individuals.
