Each month, we spotlight one of our amazing team members who work hard to bring you great results. Today, we interviewed Danielle Barthelemy from our strategy team. Let's get started!
1. What’s your role at Mediacurrent, both internally and client-related?
Senior Digital Strategist
2. Give us an idea of what professional path brought you here.
Both of my degrees and all of my professional experience has been focused on marketing, research and data, strategy, and public relations. I have broad experience in nearly every communication tactic, but I found a sweet spot in my previous agency as the Head of Strategy. I love staying up-to-date on all of the latest marketing channels and methodology, but connecting all of the dots between the goals, research, and tactics into an actionable strategy are what I really love doing!
3. How did you first get involved with Drupal?
My first experience with Drupal was at Mediacurrent!
4. Is there a go-to Drupal module that you like to incorporate whenever possible?
I love the modules that make data easier to access - Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
5. Do you have any recommended reading or books that you would suggest to others?
So many! Braving the Wilderness by Brene Brown (anything by Brene Brown, really), Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and The Four Obsessions of an Extraordinary Leader by Patrick Lencioni, A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman, The Infinite Game by Simon Sinek, Quiet by Susan Cain
6. Any mobile apps that you use regularly?
The Wonder Weeks - IYKYK
Snapchat - We have family all over, this helps us stay connected with the little things throughout our days.
Amazon Music
Too many shopping apps
7. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I have a two year old and a 3 month old so there isn’t much of it… but I love going to the county park down the road and walking in the forest.
8. What do you like about Mediacurrent?
The people! I have learned so much about strategy, technology, business, and life from both my teammates and my clients.
