Atlanta-based design agency EM2 approached Mediacurrent with requirements for a Drupal site that would help Hope College bolster their 2011 admissions campaign. Both Mediacurrent and EM2 were tasked with migrating Hope College's legacy Admissions site off of flat HTML files and into Drupal within a five-week timeframe. The content migration included existing and new content as well as a new rich, colorful user interface design.
Mediacurrent relied on the improved architecture and usability of Drupal 7 to launch the Admissions site just before the start of Hope's busy Fall term. Drupal 7's improved theming layer added enough flexibility to allow for interface styling changes to occur right up to launch. Drupal 7's new streamlined administrative interface provided the ability for content managers to quickly enter and modify WYSIWYG HTML content and photos for 70+ new site pages.
