Summer Intern
This is a full-time opportunity over the summer months to gain maximum exposure to a myriad of technical, business, and operational skills within a web development firm. We are looking to mentor a student interested in a career path predicated around the web. Mediacurrent will be your "client" as you work with senior staff and take a project through the full lifecycle, with the goal of delivering a finished product that will be integrated into Mediacurrent's internal processes.
Our culture is comfortable, flexible, and dynamic. We are a mostly virtual company based throughout the Southeast USA. We strongly believe in open-source principles and contributing back to the Drupal community. Your experience at Mediacurrent will challenge and stretch your mind on a daily basis.
- Computer Science (or related major) with a 3.0 GPA or higher
- 1+ years of web development experience
- Social media whiz
- Proficiency i nMS Office (including PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Extra credit if you: already blog regularly, have a sample portfolio of sites you can showcase, are familiar with or use Drupal regularly
