This weekend Mediacurrent will be participating in the regionally popular open-source event called Southeast Linuxfest (SELF) held in Spartanburg, South Carolina. After hearing many requests, the organizers wanted to dedicate a full day (Sunday, June 13th) for just Drupal'ers. Many props to mega-Drupal evangelist Doug Vann for spearheading the effort, and working with the SELF organizing committee to pull this off. There will be a cross-section of 15 Drupal sessions with subject matter that should appeal to newbies up to savvy developers.
Some of the Mediacurrent team will be presenting four sessions – they include:
Dante Taylor –Drupal Theming for Beginners
Roger Soper – Drush: A Beginner’s Guide to an Advanced Tool
Steven Jackson - Three Cheers for Aegir: Easy Management of Multiple Drupal Sites
Isaac Sukin – Social Networking in Drupal
If you are in the area – c'mon over! There is still time to register, and did I mention the event is FREE!
We hope to see you there and will circulate video and/or slides soon.
