At this year's Drupalcamp Atlanta, Steven Jackson and I co-presented the topic "Getting Started with Drupal Translations". Both Steven and I submitted similar sessions, and the organizers thought it would be a good idea for the two of us to combine our proposed topics into one presentation. This worked out great!

The Drupalcamp Atlanta 2010 organizers had an ambitious goal of professionally recording every snippet of material we could this year (including BoFs). I am proud to report that vision is now a reality. Knowledge share is an integral part of the Drupal community and FREE footage like this is an awesome give-back.

On Saturday, October 2nd 225 Drupal'ers from primarily around the Southeast convened for an intensive day of learning and networking at Drupalcamp Atlanta 2010. The event was highlighted by a blunt, but highly insightful morning keynote by Jeff Wapole from Phase2 Technology. Jeff asserted that the Drupal community is at a major inflection point.

With that said, I have seen tremendous value incorporating Features in just about everything that I do Drupal-related. Recently, I shared a snapshot at a Mediacurrent staff meeting of a more in-depth presentation I would like to do at the upcoming Drupalcamp Atlanta.

Drupalcamp Atlanta

Last weekend was the first ever Drupalcamp Atlanta, and I am proud to report that things went really well. As I write this, we've had 11 straight days of downpours in metro Atlanta and flooding throughout the city. As a result, we had a higher percentage of no-shows than we would have liked, but about 200 Drupal'ers braved the weather and made it out.
